ATLANTIC SOUTH.
Ghost Stories.

A collection of ghostly lore sourced from all over the Old Dominion state, this is a clear labor of love from Virginia-born L. B. Taylor, Jr.. Fresh from service in the U.S. Army, this Lynchburg native took his degree in journalism from Florida State University and worked as a public information officer for NASA at Kennedy Space Center, where in 1958 he got to report on the launching of Explorer I, America’s first satellite. In 1969, Taylor covered Apollo 11’s first manned lunar landing. Throughout his years pursuing a career in writing, L. B. maintained the childhood fascination he’d always had for ghost lore. He published twenty-five books about Virginia ghosts, the one we offer here being the third printing of a collection copyrighted in 1993. This is a hefty softcover, containing accounts of spine tingling hauntings statewide. All the photographs were taken by Taylor, with illustrations by Brenda Goens (his wife and fellow wraith enthusiast), Lisa Sullivan, and Isobel Donovan. Are the accounts true? Perhaps Taylor himself, who passed away in 2014, is currently fact checking the phenomena which he spent his life chronicling. [Condition Used Very Good. Some wear and crimping on the cover.]
